Public Skating Niagara

St Catharines Santa Claus Parade
Come see Santa and all his friends march the downtown streets of St. Catharines! Canada Post will be there collecting letters for Santa along the parade route. You can also bring a non-perishable food item, hats or mittens for Community Care St. Catharines & Thorold. Check out the post-parade party at the Meridian Centre from 2pm-4pm. Thorold Christmas Craft Show
The 21st annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Show will be held at Thorold Secondary School (Ormond St. N.). Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. join more than 80 juried artists and artisans at this popular two-day event. Admission is $2.00 and all proceeds go to support Thorold Secondary School. Free parking is available at the high school and at municipal parking lots. Saturday, November 18th | 2:15 PM – 3 PM Dr. Huq Family Library Branch Reading should be fun. By reading to a furry friend, children can improve their reading skills, confidence, interest, and enjoyment in reading. Every Therapy Tail dog is specially trained and certified to sit quietly and listen while your child reads aloud to it.

Join us for the kick off the 35th annual Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights season with Opening Ceremonies in Niagara Parks Queen Victoria Park on Saturday, November 18th, 2017! To celebrate this milestone season this year’s Opening Ceremonies will feature one of the world’s most exciting performance groups. Stay tuned for this entertainment announcement. Admission to the Opening Ceremonies is completely free! Bring the whole family to see the stunning entertainment show and our Flip-the-Switch ceremony where we will illuminate the over two million lights that make up our 8km long illumination route. Hernder Estate Wines is hosting their 23rd Annual Craft Show, November 3rd, 4th and 5th from 10am-5pm all three days. Community Care will be here accepting donations or non perishable food items in lieu of admission. Two floors of vendors, food and wine sampling. ATM on site, wheelchair and stroller friendly.
