Tell Tails: Therapy Tails Ontario
Saturday, November 18th | 2:15 PM – 3 PM Dr. Huq Family Library Branch Reading should be fun. By reading to a furry friend, children can improve their reading skills, confidence, interest, and enjoyment in reading. Every Therapy Tail dog is specially trained and certified to sit quietly and listen while your child reads aloud to it.

Join us for the kick off the 35th annual Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights season with Opening Ceremonies in Niagara Parks Queen Victoria Park on Saturday, November 18th, 2017! To celebrate this milestone season this year’s Opening Ceremonies will feature one of the world’s most exciting performance groups. Stay tuned for this entertainment announcement. Admission to the Opening Ceremonies is completely free! Bring the whole family to see the stunning entertainment show and our Flip-the-Switch ceremony where we will illuminate the over two million lights that make up our 8km long illumination route. Sunday, November 19th – 4pm – 9pm Monday, November 20th – 4pm – 9pm And Friday, November 25 – 2pm – 9pm Saturday, November 26 – 2pm – 9pm Sunday, November 27 – Noon – 5 pm Visit the Grand View Winter Marketplace in Niagara Parks (5920 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls) and explore the artisan market, featuring handmade crafts, gifts, and unique housewares, housed in quaint cabins set up along the parapet wall across from the falls. Across the street, you’ll find food trucks and family friendly games and activities, like giant-sized board games, workshops and performances. The Grand View Winter Marketplace is open on two weekends: November 19 – 20 and November 25-27, from 4pm to 9pm, at the bottom of Clifton Hill on the Niagara Parkway.
