Wow! Where do we start here? This is where the mess truly is, goldfish, dropped bagels pieces, you name it, you’ll find it in the car.
The only way I kept my sanity with a dirty car was to deep clean it once a year and from then attempt to keep it clean. It never happened, that drunk band of tiny pirates in the back seat always found a way to undo my clean car.
But here we are…
Start by emptying everything out of the car and throwing away the garbage.
Give the car a quick vacuum and wipe down all those fingers prints with a disinfectant wipe.
Sort your car items between items that you need and crap that needs to be put away in the house or garage.
We are a hockey family, for 12 months a year the boys play hockey, so the trunk space is used up with bags and sticks. I find keeping a Thirty One bag in the trunk with extra socks, sunscreen, bug spray, a blanket, sweaters, rain jackets, and/or shopping bags keeps everything in one place and there is less mess to deal with.
