A few years ago we made the move (when I say ‘we’ I mean my husband and I but really he didn’t help at all but likes to feel included, so a ‘we’ it is! 😉 ) to natural home-made cleaning products and it, for the most part, worked out. Things like laundry detergent didn’t work out, but fabric softener did. Natural drain cleaners are no good at hair clogs but we only get them once in a while and every month I flush the drains with baking soda and vinegar to keep them from getting backed up.
Organize your cleaning supplies…
Gather all your cleaning products on the Kitchen table and write a list of what you have, what you need, and check the expiry dates (?) or toss items that you don’t use or all those bottles that have one spray left in each one!
Do you have a cleaning caddy for each room you have to clean? Do you have a central kit you carry from room to room? Organize your kits/caddie that works for you, after all you are the one cleaning!
Put all the cleaning supplies back in their new spots and enjoy cleaning!
