The fridge is something I aim to do every week but with so many schedules to keep up with it tends to be the first thing I put off. I love to open my fridge and see bright colours and organizes shelves, it never happens but I know I would like it if one day it did.
This should really only take 30 minutes right now but schedule a quick wipe and organize on the day you plan your meals for the week or unpack your groceries, then it only takes 5 -10 minutes and will save you time when it comes to a full fridge clean.
Empty the fridge of all the contents and sort what you have. Check the expiry dates and toss what you don’t need.
Organize your contents by zones, dairy, produce etc.
Clean the fridge, shelves and drawers with soapy water and let them dry.
Load all the contents back in the fridge in a way that works for you. You may find you have to change things around to work better for your family but it needs to work for you so cut yourself some slack if in September you are still working on your fridge organization 😉
